Mailsmith, an iBook, and Glider Pro Walk Into a Bar

I never did hear the punchline to that 2003 joke by John Gruber of Daring Fireball. But I give a tip of the hat to him for now alerting so many people that Glider Classic has been dusted off for the iPad and iPhone and is flying again!

This game is truly a classic. The concept and play is so simple but to master it is challenging.

But this game is kind. It gives you pauses to stop and think of your strategy for navigating the next challenge. And before you have gone too far you can usually back up and regroup your approach. And when you do crash you start close to where you were before.

Nice, easy-going game that is as fresh and new today as it was back when.
